CORN BREADS
FRIED CORN on COB
BABY DIARRHEA? NO.
SWEET POTATO SLURRY
MAC & CHEESE
LOADED MASHED POTATOES
CHAR GRILLED CHEESEBURGER
PULLED BBQ CHICKEN
PULLED BBQ PORK
First off the only reason I thought about stopping here is because they were running a promotion for $15 for $30 worth of food.Good deal?
But even better, I had a $10 off that. So I got $30 of food for $5 WOO HOO.
Even as cheap as it was, it didn't make me like it.
The corn bread was not made in house. Mistake. Dry and bland.
No sweetness to it.
I was excited to see fried corn on the cob, but much to my dismay it was nothing special. Don't really know why I though it would be awesome. Maybe they should have a special seasoning after pulling out of the fryer. How about butter and salt even?
The sweet potato (AKA baby poo) was much tastier than it looked, but still lacked
a streusel topping that I desired so badly. That would have put it over the top perhaps.
The mac & cheese. Bland and dry. How hard is it to mess that shit up???
Since we had $30 to spend I came up short and needed another item, so why not try
the loaded mashed. Again, mistake.
They were generic and uneventful. So far nothing worthy Jack's.
Yes I know, a burger at a BBQ joint. I had to. They do grill it, so why not.
I asked first if the were fresh or frozen, and was told frozen. Now I was contemplating.
Alright, you twisted my arm. Not bad. Nothing remotely close to any real burgers but
still descent. It helped it was cooked over a open flame. Unfortunately they cook medium well.
Now on to what should have been great. Coming from a place that is a BBQ joint, right?
Wrong! Wow, the meats were tough and greasy with a slight strange taste.
Didn't like that they dribbled they sauce on, WTF? A tad stingy with the BBQ sauce.
Chicken and pork, swing and a miss.
Even that it only cost me $5 it still seemed like a gip.

Its nice to know that you have the kind of time on your hands to take pix and make such a long story out of a meal.....
It even nicer to know you care so much as to comment on my reviews on a "FOOD BLOG". Thats what I do.
Clearly you work for or own Jack's.
Not picking on you but you need to know any constructive criticism or else you'll fail and never understand why.
