Just eat me bitch. 

I got a tip from another site on how tasty Nick's in South Philly is.

So being me and the wife were down in the area 

what better time then to check it out. 

My stomach was rumbling so I jaunted over to Nick's.

Nestled in a unassuming block of stores and houses,

Nick's peeked out at the corner.

We head inside for some take out. It's small inside

so not a place to eat in really. Luckily we were parked 

right out front and could eat right away. I ordered a burger

& dog. You can't have one without the other, right? 

Fucking right you can't. So get both.

They had everything cooking on a awesome coal grill and 

it smelled divine. 

They did have some tasty looking ribs and wings 

smoking on the grill, but for now the 

burger-dog will have to do. 

I ordered the burger with just cheese and cooked medium. 

It was cooked a smidgen over medium, 

but it still was juicy and the coal flavor

was ridiculously perfect. 

Bonus! Everything is served on an outstanding 

seeded Roll from Sarcone's Bakery.

Now the dog. Again, beautiful smoky flavor and

cooked perfect. It was good, but I am a burger nut.

So the burger wins for me. 

I was talking to the owner as I waited, great guy. 

He really cares about your experience, so thats always 

a great sign.

Stop by if your in the area for a truly tasty charcoal 

burger. 

Next time I need to see what else is good.
